holiday kitchen stocking Toys & games stocking Just finished stitching these Better Homes and Garden (BH&G) heirloom stockings.  The toys and games stocking was not personalized per customers request.

Family Portrait was completed on 14 ct aida. This was a very quick stitch, only took 4 days to complete.  

This project has no title, since it was a personal poem.  I was contacted and asked if I would chart this poem to be given as a gift.  At the request of the customer, I added small, simple seashells.  Because this piece was stitched over the Christmas holiday, it is hard to give an exact…

Model stitching: Queen of Water cross stitch is now complete after almost 8 weeks of stitching.  What a beautiful piece this turned out to be.  The beads really accentuate the beauty of this cross stitched piece.   close up of the face.  You can see how the beads add beauty to the stitched piece. 

The stitching is almost complete for this piece, then I’ll need to do the backstitch and add the beads. Despite this being a large piece to stitch, it has been great to work on.

This project just becomes more beautiful as I stitch it.  I am getting anxious to see what it will look like when I add the beads. The designer did a great job with the details in the pattern and also the selection of the floss colors.

Sorry that I didn’t post a progress picture for week 2, but here’s the Queen of Water cross stitch as of week 3. I am really enjoying this piece.  The colors are so bright and they really add to the shading effect. Great pattern to follow. As I mentioned before, the white dots on the…
