Spring is just around the corner
When writing my title for this entry I couldn't decide between "spring is just around the corner" or "127 hours later... it is done"
I mention the time it took to stitch this piece because it just seems like such a large number to me. I consider myself a relatively quick stitcher, so it kinda surprised me when I was finished and looked at my time log. Also, I think it reiterates to people that doing handmade needlework is not something you can just whip up in a day or 2.
This piece is actually titled The Bluebird Trail by Crossed Wing Collection. The fabric is hand painted by the same company and is titled "sky" (28 ct linen)
My photo just doesn't capture the true beauty of this fabric with the bright threads against it. Stitched it measures approx 16.5 x 20.5
